This could save your Life?

Yesterday whilst on a long plane flight I was glancing through a flying magazine when I noticed an article asking what would you do if you had a heart attack while flying. Not, as a passenger but as the pilot!

Well, what would you do? I asked myself that question and couldn't think of anything. After all you can't perform CPR on yourself! And, if you are alone in a little plane and/or by yourself in the car in a remote part of the country you can't get help quickly.

Anyway, I will outline the technique discovered by the Johnson City, Tennessee Medical Center. They have apparently tested it and it works.

Is there a natural option for Baldness??

Question: from James

What can you do about hair loss for men?

I have taken Propecia almost 2 years ago for 4 months without any success only to have anxiety problems a year later, which I think was a side effect from the product, since I never had such a problem before or after I stopped taking it.

The other thing was I paid thousand to be seen and to just to get that pill.

There is a very high demand for a natural alternative out there for a well made product that can at least help to slow down the problem.

Is or has Xtend life ever looked into this problem ever or thought about a possible product that could help maybe in the future?

Zeaxanthin often overlooked for Eye's!

We have been using Zeaxanthin in our three Total Balance formulas for more than 5 years when the evidence relating to its benefits to the eyes became indisputable.

It’s an extremely potent carotenoid…many times more so than its ‘cousin’ Lutein!  Mind you it would be expected to be more potent given that it costs twenty (20) times as much as Lutein.  That is if you buy the best form which is produced under the brand name ‘OptisharpTM’.  (The cost is one of the reasons why you often don’t see it in supplements)

Zeaxanthin is extracted from the Marigold flower as is Lutein, although it uses a much more complex extraction process and the yield is a lot lower.

Hypothyroidism...is there a natural solution?

Question: from Susan

Unless you know of a natural solution to hypothyroidism, I am destined to be taking levothytoxine the rest of my life, even though I detest having to use pharmaceuticals. I would welcome any information on "curing" my underactive thyroid if there is any out there. Otherwise, pharmaceuticals are a necessary part of my life which I simply can't avoid.

Comment: from Warren

This is a difficult one Susan. We researched this subject some time ago but it is not really possible at this time to design an effective natural supplement that is potent enough to replace the medication…and to be a ‘one size fits all’.

However, we have had good experiences with our Total Balance (at the full dose rate) which seems to help prevent the situation getting any worse and in some cases people have been able to reduce their medication after getting their annual blood check for Thyroid.

I also put this question to Joanna for further comment and here are some suggestions from her.

Curcumin as a Painkiller?

Question: from Sabina

Hi Warren: I know I can always get a straight answer from you.

There's a tablet called Curamin that is being sold as a natural remedy painkiller. It contains Circumin (turmeric), Boswellia,DLPA (phenylalanine) and Nattokinase. I'm aware of its anti-inflammatory properties but I don't know much about that COX 2 inhibitor associated with turmeric. Perhaps you could enlighten me.

I'm thinking of it for my 87 year old mom who has arthritis pain and doesn't take/refuses to take any "pills" except for a fish oil capsule because she accepts the fact that that's how an 87 year old is supposed to feel and of course I don't!!! What is your opinion and do you sell anything similar to this combination....I'd much rather purchase it from you!

Do we use or sell Leptin?

Question: from Urania

Please inform me if you sell LEPTIN vitamin in tablets or any other form

Answer: from Warren

No, we do not use Leptin and as far as we are aware, leptin in supplement form is not currently available. Leptin is a protein-hormone and therefore would unlikely pass FDA regulation to be sold 'over-the-counter'.

Despite its successful studies regarding obesity and energy increase, research on its use also showed that it may have contributory side effects to hypertension, endothelial dysfunction and atherosclerosis in obese individual

Another good reason NOT to drink tap water!

Over the years I have repeatedly warned against drinking water straight from the tap. This is because of the presence of contaminants within most water supplies. I have also written about deformed fish being found in San Francisco Bay due to actions of pharmaceuticals which are present in the bay’s water.

Well, the situation concerning drinking water continues to get worse according to a probe carried out by AP (Associated Press). They did investigative research and found pharmaceuticals present in drinking water right across the USA. (Note: this problem is not limited to just the USA. It applies in many other developed countries.)

Although the amounts detected are small the long term effects could be very dangerous, and of course with increasing use of pharmaceuticals the problem is only going to get worse…

There are two things that you can do to help yourself and the overall problem!

Why are you concerned about Supplements passing through the Stomach?

Question: from Pappa

I can't understand the concern about supplements passing through the stomach and being exposed to stomach acid.

All food we eat normally passes the stomach and gets exposed to the stomach acid. Anything that can't stand our stomach's acid, but has to me covered in a way to pass the stomach unhindered, can't be a "natural" product. We should eat as close to "nature" as possible.
